The All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) has launched Pragati scholarship program for 5000 female students who are in Any AICTE approved institution. This scholarship provides Scholarship amount of ₹50,000 per year to the candidate who are eligible and submit the application form. This Scholarship amount covers tuition fees, laptops, books and software and other study related things. Eligibility Criteria for AICTE Pragati Scholarship 2025
The eligibility criteria set by AICTE for female candidates for this Pragati Scholarship Scheme – Check all Criterias before starting application process of AICTE Scholarship Scheme:
- Female students who have secured admission into the first year of a diploma or degree program or the second year via lateral entry in an AICTE-approved institution are eligible to apply.
- The annual family income of the candidate should not exceed ₹8 lakhs to be eligible for Pragati Scholarship Schemeb- For married applicants the income of either parents or in-laws (whichever is higher) will be considered.
- Only two girls per family can get this Pragati scholarship and candidate should not recieve any other scholarship by NSP.
- Applicants should submit documents like Aadhaar card income certificate admission proof and bank details for verification to get Pragati Scholarship benefits.
Scholarship Benefits and Financial Support
The AICTE Pragati Scholarship gives financial aid to selected candidates of ₹50,000 annually one time amount. The student who get this scholarship can use this amount for tuition fees purchase of laptops books and other study expenses. The students who are in Degree course can renew this Scholarships benefits for 4 years and Diploma students can get scholarship benefits for 3 years. Lateral entry candidates (joining directly in the second year) are eligible for two or three years depends on Course duration.

Step-by-Step Application Process for AICTE Pragati Scholarship 2025
- Visit the official NSP website (www.scholarships.gov.in) .
- Click “New Registration” option and then Pragati Scholarship.
- Fill Registration Application Form – name, mobile number, email ID, and bank account information.
- Verify your mobile number via OTP and submit to generate an Application ID and password.
- Fill Pragati Scholarship Form with – academic details (e.g., course, institute name, admission year) and personal information.
- Upload all Scanned copies – Class 10 and 12 mark sheets, Aadhaar card, Income certificate, Admission letter, Tuition fee receipt, Bank passbook, Passport photo and Caste certificate (JPEG/PNG/PDF).

No – The scholarship is only for students admitted through government-centralized processes.

The ₹50,000 annual grant is transferred directly to the beneficiary’s Aadhaar-linked bank account through DBT.
